September 2026 Visa Bulletin: the Other Workers queue did not move

The Department of State published the Visa Bulletin for September 2026. For applicants on the EB-3 unskilled route the relevant line is Employment Third Preference, Other Workers, and in this issue that line did not move for any country.

What the September bulletin says

In the final action dates chart, the Other Workers cut-off for all chargeability areas except those listed separately is 1 April 2022 — the same date the August bulletin carried. The separately listed countries have their own, much earlier, cut-offs: 1 January 2014 for India, 1 May 2019 for China-mainland, and 1 December 2021 for the Philippines.

Bangladesh is not separately listed, so an applicant chargeable to Bangladesh reads the all chargeability areas column. That is the 1 April 2022 line.

• Your priority date is earlier than 1 April 2022 → your date is current under this bulletin and your case can move.
• Your priority date is later → you are still waiting, and this month changed nothing for you.
• You do not have a priority date yet → nothing on this chart applies to you until a labour certification is filed on your behalf.

Unchanged is information, not nothing

A month with no movement is worth reading precisely because it is the common case. Cut-off dates advance when the annual allocation has room and demand allows; they sit still, or move backwards, when it does not. A static month tells you the queue ahead of you was not consumed faster than it was joined.

It also tells you something about anyone who contacts you this month claiming your case has jumped forward. Nothing in this bulletin moved.
